St. Mary Magdalene Church in Wolcott was established as a mission in 1940 and became a parish in 1956. The church building was constructed in 1940. Father Alfred J. Horr served for 19 years from 1965 until his retirement in 1984. Today, St. Mary Magdalene is part of the Catholic Community of the Blessed Trinity cluster.
