Our Lady of Lebanon

Closed

Canandaigua Lake, Ontario County

Built in 1915, Our Lady of Lebanon functioned as a summer chapel for vacationers visiting nearby Canandaigua Lake. The chapel also served campers from neighboring Camp Madonna. In 1934, the chapel was closed, sold, and transformed into a private residence. Dr. Joseph Fitzpatrick acquired the former church in 1969 and arranged for priests to celebrate Mass in the chapel every five years until his passing. The building remains standing today.
