Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Rochester was founded on June 20, 1904. Monsignor John P. Schellhorn served as founding pastor for 32 years from 1904 to 1936. Monsignor Francis J. Hoefen then served for 31 years from 1936 to 1967. The church building was dedicated on May 30, 1926. The parish closed on January 9, 2011.
