St. Francis

St. Francis Church in Catatonk was established as a mission in 1929. The first Mass was celebrated on November 1, 1931. The Conventual Franciscans served the parish in its early years. Father William Moorby served for 16 years from 1993 until the parish closed on October 4, 2009—fittingly on the feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
