St. Lawrence Church in Greece was established on June 25, 1959 to serve the growing suburban community of northwestern Monroe County. Father John A. Murphy served for 22 years from 1962 to 1984, and Father Frank Falletta served for 30 years from 1984 to 2014. The present church building was completed in December 1989. St. Lawrence remains an independent parish.
