St. Vincent de Paul Church in Corning was founded on July 19, 1913. The church building was dedicated on June 25, 1955. Father Joseph E. Gullfoil served for 24 years from 1940 until his retirement in 1964. Father Joseph F. Hogan then served for 19 years from 1964 until his retirement in 1983. The parish has since closed.
